After built the AB32 and marketing it, we discovered that many boat dealers and private customers and now requesting a bigger cat. We started to consider designing a larger model on the same nice lines. After much research and listening to current and past customers as to what they would like, we decided to proceed with design of AB 42 and AB45. Two preliminary plans were written and presented to our potential customers and immediately we were given the go ahead by a very eager buyer. The AB45 is already visible right now in construction in our yard.
Our Main goal is to offer hand crafted, detailed quality at the right price: you get a composite power cat at a fraction of price of other suppliers, built cost effectively in Asia, much cheaper than boats from Europe or in the West. For comparison, we calculate the AB45 is priced close to half of many international brands and even as low as a third of many US brands of its category. Siam Cat it is built by Italian managed company in Thailand with European quality and following high standard using the finest imported materials and craftsmen available.
Designing the AB45 we had two major design criteria: we wanted a long range, very fuel-efficient cruising catamaran but with the same Italian inspired style lines of the AB32; we did not want it to look like many other catamarans, boxy and square. The AB45 introduces elegant, ground breaking innovations in comfort, safety and performance. This new breed of power catamaran is designed by architect Albert Nazarov of Albatross Marine Design following Siam Cat requirements.
Built using the latest technology and materials, the AB45 integrates an open-plan layout with exceptional interior volume, offering a comfortable power cat that combines spacious accommodations with superior performance levels.
She features outdoor and indoor dining areas, a fully equipped galley, spacious saloon with forward facing navigation station, and a cocktail bar off the galley. Available in 3 or 4 cabin configurations with en suite lavatories and stall showers plus plenty of storage space, ventilation, and lighting.
On the flybridge, a front centrally positioned helm station is covered by a bimini or hardtop roof and offers excellent visibility on all corners of the yacht for ease of maneuvering. Complete with wrap around seating for 8, a wet bar, BBQ, cooler, and drink holders, the flybridge is the perfect place to take in the scenery.
